Summary:
This is a manuscript of a talisman, used for meditation and protection, written around the Tetragrammaton; "אדני" written inside the Tetragrammaton letters using the spared-ground technique (called כתב חציבה in Hebrew). Divine name formations frame the Tetragrammaton, and the Biblical Priestly blessing (Numbers 6:23-27) frames the outer margins; three texts commonly used for amulets, in menorah motif (with upper arcs), in the lower center, are Ana be-koaḥ gedulat yeminkha (a medieval piyut acrostic of the 42-letter name of God), Psalms 67, and Psalms 121. Written in 11 lines, with 8 lines above the menorahs and 3 below; written in a Iraqi or Syrian square script. Item originated from Iraq or Syria, or possibly Jerusalem, between 1900 and 1930.
