- Summary:
- This is a manuscript leaf of private prayers recited upon entering a synagogue; it was separated from a codex, likely of private morning prayers. The manuscript begins in the middle of a prayer upon arriving at the synagogue, and another prayer follows that which is also for private recitation before prayers begin. Verso blank; ink smudging on verso suggests that individual owners wrote on the verso, perhaps names of the ill for prayer. Written in 21 lines; written in a Sephardic square script, with second instruction in a Sephardic cursive script. Written in Egypt (or otherwise the Middle East) in the later half of the 19th century.
