Summary:
"There is a need of a better philosophical method for cross-cultural philosophizing. The thesis presents a combined method for cross-cultural philosophical enterprise. The method is a combination of both comparative and confluence methods. This new method is named as Com-Con method of philosophy. Two philosophical systems, the Advaita and Neoplatonims of Plotinus are studied under this combined method and reveals the advances of the combined method. Basically, the first principle of the Neoplatonism, i.e., The One and the only principle of the Advaita, i.e., Brahman are studied to illustrate the features of the Com-Con method of cross-cultural philosophizing"-- Provided by publisher.
