The group focuses on the analysis of subjective and cultural factors that participate in the construction of the Place, memory and spatial identity of urban sociocultural groups. By knowing the mechanisms of Molding the Place and establishing the affections produced by/in the physical spaces, this subject has proved fundamental both for the generation of strategies for promoting human well-being in urban environments and for the success of architecture and urbanism projects developed from new methodologies. The repercussion of the knowledge generated has been through scientific dissemination, extension courses, workshops of practical action, research projects and lectures.
