Summary:
This is a case of a widow of a military officer who after the death of her husband and breadwinner was left to fend for herself and two children. Against all odds, Amina endures trials and tribulations to maintain the family through foraging, enterprise, and forbearance. She developed a mind-set that there might be an opportunity hiding so she is always combing her surroundings to see what useful materials were thrown away that she can recycle. The case underlines the widow's dilemma in finding ways to fund and develop her future enterprise ventures, which include opening a grocery shop or starting a fashion design and tailoring outlet. Students will be asked to evaluate Amina's current entrepreneurial activities and to use the result to help her plan future endeavors.
