일상에서 일어나는 신변잡기를 기록한 조선시대 개인일기는 『조선왕조실록』, 『승정원일기』 등과 같은 관찬사료에서 찾을 수 없는 자잘한 시대상을 보여주고 있어 공적인 기록에서 누락된 부분을 보완할 수 있는 가치가 있습니다. 올해는 지역별 조사연구 마지막 해로 충청·강원·전라·경남 지역 개인일기의 현황을 조사하여 170여건의 일기 가운데 27건의 일기를 선별하여 해제하였습니다. 기본적인 서지사항과 함께 저자의 생애, 일기의 구성과 체제, 내용과 가치 등을 정리하고 해당 일기별 사진을 수록하여 가독성을 높이고자 하였습니다. - 〈펴내는 글〉 중에서.

The personal diaries of the Joseon Dynasty, which recorded personal affairs that occurred in daily life, show details of the times that cannot be found in official records such as 『Annals of the Joseon Dynasty』 and 『Seungjeongwon Ilgi』, and are valuable in making up for missing parts in public records. . This year, the last year of regional research, we investigated the status of personal diaries in Chungcheong, Gangwon, Jeolla, and Gyeongnam regions, and 27 diaries out of 170 were selected and released.
