『박이문 인문학 전집』의 출간 기획은 2014년부터 시작되었다. 박이문 선생과 부인 유영숙 여사의 격려와 지원을 통해 큰 힘을 손에 쥐고 출발했다. 전집의 목차 구성은 박이문 선생의 인문학적 저작을 주제별·시간대별로 분류한 결과물이다. 제3권 『동양과 서양의 만남』은 서양의 문학과 철학을 연구하면서도 동양사상에 특별한 관심을 지녔던 박이문 선생의 서양사상과 동양사상을 비교한 글들로 구성되어 있으며, 서구 인간중심주의에 대한 '대안적 통찰'과 '둥지적 사유'의 초기적 시도라고도 볼 수 있다. 1부는 동양사상에 관심을 갖기 시작한 초기의 글들로 동서양의 사고의 차이를 규명하고 있으며, 2부는 『노장사상』(1980)으로 박이문 선생의 동양사상에 대한 첫 번째 관심의 결과였으며, 3부는 『논어의 논리』(2005)로 십 수 년 동안 천착한 『논어』에 대한 이해의 결정물이고, 4부는 동양사상을 통해 현대사회를 위해 새로운 철학적 모색을 하는 글들이다.

Planning to publish 『Park Yi-moon's Complete Works of Humanities』 began in 2014. We set off with great strength through the encouragement and support of Mr. Park Yi-moon and his wife, Ms. Yoo Young-sook. The table of contents of the complete collection is the result of classifying Park Yi-moon's humanistic works by subject and time period. Volume 3, 『Encounter between East and West』, consists of writings comparing Western and Eastern thought by Park Yi-moon, who studied Western literature and philosophy but had a special interest in Oriental thought, and is a study on Western anthropocentrism. It can also be seen as an early attempt at 'alternative insight' and 'nest thinking'. Part 1 is the early writings that began to show interest in Oriental thought and identifies the differences between Eastern and Western thinking. Part 2 is 『The Thought of Lao and Zhuang』 (1980), which was the result of Park Yi-moon's first interest in oriental thought, and Part 3 is 『 The Logic of the Analects of Confucius (2005) is the crystallization of the understanding of the Analects of Confucius that has been explored for over a dozen years, and Part 4 is a collection of writings that explore new philosophy for modern society through Eastern thought.
