- Summary:
- Carlos Altamirano (Santiago, 1954) had exposed, three times in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. In 1991 he presented "Pintor de Domingo", "Retratos" in 1996 and in 2007 "Obra Completa". This fourth time that Altamirano occupies the spaces of the museum with "O si no", a testimony of the incomprehension of the 2007 exhibition or the provisional of any attempt at completeness in his work, always returning to his steps, always articulating new readings and new constructions, of a work that seems to be building a single work, the end of which cannot be glimpsed. The exhibition aims to critically rebuild four decades of Altamirano's production.
