- Summary:
- The traveling exhibition of national and international photography, curated by Veronica Tell, was structured in two major thematic axes: "Cities and their Worlds" and "Forms of Subjectivity". The first is a selection of photographs that focus on urban scenes: in the city as a physical, symbolic and political space; how the city is personally inhabited; and in the universes that the photographer discovers and trims while searching for the image he wants to capture. The second nucleus focuses on the various forms of portraiture and includes images of personalities, self-portraits, photographs of family groups, nudity and ethnographic records. This curatorial text "seeks to show two important facets of the institutional collection: street photography and portraiture. And, through these genres, it seeks to call a look at our own places and who we are" (HKB Translation) --Page 15.
