Summary:
Collection includes two woodblocks, carved on both sides, total of eight images. Woodblocks contain images and text from volumes one and four of a five volume set, "Ikku shokoku mongatari zue". Leaf and volume numbers are indicated by the column found between the text block and the illustration on each leaf (hashira). Cf., bookseller advert.
Images depict Ikkyu Sogun (1394-1481) in various places throughout Japan. Included in the collection are eight sheets with images printed from the woodblocks. Sheets are uncut.
