- Kislak Center copy has dated 18th-century manuscript ownership inscriptions ("Henry Morto his Book Ano Domni 1771" written twice) on front pastedown; five further instances of the same inscription on front free endpaper. Probably to be identified with Henry Morto (approximately 1748-1835) of Dorchester, Mass.
- Kislak Center copy bound in contemporary quarter sheep over marbled paper-covered wooden boards; 3 raised bands on spine.
- Kislak Center copy: boards damaged; portion of right board broken off with some loss of text of index; some leaves detached from spine; head outer corner of last plate torn off with loss of numeration.
