Purchased at auction (Refaeli, Jerusalem, auction 21, 2021 March 14, lot 96) ; inscribed by the Syrian-Palestinian emissary Joseph Haim Shrem (1851-1949) to Yaʻaḳov Menaḥem Raḥamim Shalom ("מה מאוד שמח לבי ויגל כבוד בראותי חד מין חברייא מיקירי לבבי... ביתו בית ועד לחכמים... גבאי נאמן כה"ר ר' יעקב מנחם רחמים שלום הי"ו ... יוסף חיים שרים הי"ו") ; manuscript annotations written in margins, in the hand of "אחד חכי"ם" (autograph on title ; possibly a member of the Hakim family).
