Moses Rosenblatt, rabbi of Congregation Beth Joseph and Talmud Torah, Bronx, New York; Aaron Shuchatowitz, rabbi in New Haven; Moshe Halberstam (addressee for 583e) was a dayan in Jerusalem for the Beth Din of the ʻEdah ha-ḥaredit and headed Kolel Ḥibat Yerushalayim; Efraim Fishel Hershkowitz, the dayan of Hallein (a Jewish community of displaced persons in Austria), Chasidic posek and Holocaust survivor (he formed a Beth Din to handle cases emerging from the September 11 Terrorist Attacks, 2001); Jacob Hoffman, rabbi of Congregation Ohab Zedek on West 95th Street, New York; Yehuda Leib Rose, rabbi of Chevra Bnai Yakov Anshei Brezan, 119 Pitt Street, New York; Jacob Moinester, author and printer in New York; and Israel Porath, Rosh Av beth din (dean of rabbis) for the Orthodox Jewish community in Cleveland, author of Mavo ha-Talmud.
