Identity of "Aunt Fannie" is uncertain: known "Aunt Fannies" include 1) Fannie M. Norfolk, author of Faithful dog, c.1889 in "Aunt Fannie's series"; 2) author of May-flowers for the children, c.1860; 3) author of Clara Claiborne, [18--?] (OCLC #13238272). This AF had a brother Jamie, younger sisters Bella and Grace, older sister Lucy, Aunt Sarah, Uncle John, cousins Robert and Freddie; as a child she was called Annie (pages 12-16).
