- 本书通过对"天盛律令"铁箭符牌条文的校勘译释,补充了俄译本,汉译本中漏译的条文,纠正了汉译本中错讹衍漏之处,整理出一个比较完整的西夏文本.通过对条文逐字,逐词的对译和注释,解决以往研究中所存在的疑惑或者理解不到位之处.对西夏铁箭,刀牌,木牌,兵符等制度的研究在一定程度上复原了西夏铁箭符牌制度,并揭示出其制度渊源,具有填补学术空白的意义.
