Biography/History:
Philip N. Murphy, PhDis Professor of Psychology at Edge Hill University in Lancashire, UK. He has worked professionally in addiction and substance use since 1984 and has done extensive research in the areas of opiate dependence, and the impairment of cognitive functioning related to the use of ecstasy (MDMA) and cannabis. He is also the editor of the Routledge International Handbook of Psychobiology, published in 2018.
