He also writes books about democratic political theory and American history, including Reclaiming The American Democratic Impulse, and The Republican Abdication of Freedom: The Causes and Consequences of the Republican Party Failure to Defend Individual Freedom. He is ranked in the top 1.8% of 245,000 economists, worldwide, for article downloads on the global platform Social Science Research Network (SSRN). He is a registered investment advisor, and his investment management work involves a commercial application of the Feser Technology Cluster methodology to selecting technology stocks for investment portfolios and identifying private capital investments in regional economies. He is the holder of a patent on technology stock selection.
