Summary:
Once again this exceptionally clear atlas, first published in 2000, has been reprinted; this is the seventh time back to press. Jean-Marie Denoix is identified as the "world's leading anatomist of the equine musculoskeletal system" and is affiliated with Ecole Nationale Veterinaire d'Alfort, France. He presents high-quality photos of dissected specimens, drawings, radiographs, ultrasonograms, and MRIs--with explanatory legends--for foot, pastern, and fetlock. English is the language of choice for the labeling, but a glossary of English and Latin equivalents makes the atlas useful for non-English speaking readers as well. The volume is oversize: 10x12". Distributed by Thieme Medical Publishers. Annotation ©2011 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
