- 本书稿运用"王力古汉语字典""汉语大字典"等工具书,将东汉以前文献中出现的全部汉字包括异体字提取出来,注上上古音,应该说这是上古音研究的最为前沿性的成果,也是作者积30年之成果.书稿分四部分:字表,谐声表,韵表,说明.字表部分按开合四等详细列出每部所有字,注以国际音标,现代汉语拼音,部分字有简单训释;谐声表详列声符和代表字,以及单字;韵表部分则穷尽形地详列"诗经""楚辞"的韵谱和合韵谱;说明部分则对一些学界有争议的字的归属,一些例外字进行说解,并采用统计学的方法将各字在"诗经""楚辞"的出现频次予以说明.后附索引以方便读者检索.目前古文字学研究的瓶颈之一是上古音问题,该书是一本工具书,应该会对学术起到推动作用.
