Valur Ingimundarson is Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Iceland and Chair of the Board of the EDDA Research Center. Sveinn M. Jóhannesson is Fennell Early Career Research Fellow in American History at the University of Edinburgh and teaches at the University of Iceland.
