- Silva refers to a collection of shipwreck accounts titled "Collecção dos naufragios," considered a continuation of Bernardo Gomes de Brito's 2 volumes "Historia tragico-maritima" of 1735-36, that reprints in a third volume (1737?) most of the original 17th century accounts.
