Saffan") in blue ink on blank leaf following front free endpaper; each volume has oval stamp ("Pallottine Novitiate * Cabra, Thurles *" around a cross surrounded by the letters AMDG) of the Pallottine congregation of Cabra, Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland on blank leaf following front free endpaper.
Kislak Center copy: each volume bound in early speckled calf(?); gold-tooled cover edges; 5 raised, gold-tooled bands on spine; gold-tooled spine panels; title stamped in gold on spine; gold-stamped green leather spine label with volume number (that of volume 1 damaged); marbled endpapers.
