- Summary:
- The Coast Guard (Guardia Costiera) has recovered migrants from a seaport boat in the Mediterranean and brought them ashore. Thousands of refugees from Africa reach the island of Lampedusa between Sicily and Tunisia every year, often with seaworthy ships. There are always gaps in the ship with death sacrifices. Aid organizations support the reception of refugees from a boat arrived at night. Lampedusa, Italy, 06.09.2013
