McKenzie [corrected to: MacKenzie] 156 Charles st Boston Feb 18th 1888") of Margaret Jane McKenzie (née Holmes; b. 1855) on front free endpaper; dated 19th-century manuscript inscription ("To Mary Jane MacKenzie 1896.") recording the gift of this volume to Margaret's daughter Mary Jane MacKenzie (b. 1883 or 1884), followed by autograph ("Mary Jane Mackenzie") of the same person on front free endpaper.
