The 1st work for 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 horns, bassoon, and contrabassoon, based on a melody from J.S. Bach's Wachet auf; the 2nd work for piano, violin, and kitchen hardware; the 3rd work for three spatially isolated duos consisting of piccolo and clarinet, xylophone and vibraphone, and violin and violoncello, with solo accordion; the 4th work for piano and percussionist, spatially separated from a string septet on one side of the hall, a woodwind quartet on the other, and a small "street band" in the back of the hall; the 5th work for 2 pianos, based on J.S. Bach's Wachet auf; the 6th work a concerto for clarinet and jazz big band; the 7th work for 2 pianos and 3 percussion; the 8th work an improvisation based on musical materials produced by Henry Brant for 16 spatially separated instrumentalists and mixed voices; the 9th work a spatial composition for 5 woodwinds, 5 brass, and tenor.
