- Summary:
- This book offers a new approach to private archive cataloging, in light of the knowledge and method of feminist history. This is not only for Turkey, an important contribution to world examples also. Why is the catalog important? It is important because with this catalog, the information and method that women's history suggests, and that feminist history and social writing, more precisely, are applied to archival studies for the first time. It is hoped that this annotated catalog, which provides significant contributions to women's history, especially archiving and information/document management, will be an example, develop and lead to many studies that involve a gender perspective in related programs.
