- Summary:
- Welcome to the 30th edition of the Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI (GLSVLSI) 2020, held virtually for the first time. GLSVLSI is a premier venue for the dissemination of manuscripts of the highest quality in all areas related to VLSI, devices, and system-level design. The location of this year's GLSVLSI was planned to be Beijing, China, where there are some historical "Great Lakes". Due to travel restrictions after the spreading of Covid-19, the conference steering committee decided to organize the conference virtually. ACM GLSVLSI 2020 is presented through the collaborative effort of a 15+ member organizing committee with 100+ technical program committee members. The Technical Program Committee Chairs, Yiran Chen and Onur Mutlu, have put together the 2020 installment of the traditionally strong ACM SIGDA GLSVLSI program. The program is structured around the following eight tracks, with GLSVLSI welcoming the International Conference on Microelectronic Systems Education (MSE) for GLSVLSI attendees as one of the tracks in 2020: 1. VLSI Design (Track Chairs Selcuk Kose, Jie Gu) 2. VLSI Circuits and Power Aware Design (Track Chairs Chenchen Liu, Swaroop Ghosh) 3. Computer-Aided Design (Track Chairs Shaoyun Fang, Jianlei Yang) 4. Testing, Reliability, Fault Tolerance (Track Chairs Benjamin Schaefer, Siddharth Garg) 5. Emerging Computing & Post-CMOS Technologies (Track Chairs Yue Zhang, Deliang Fan) 6. Hardware Security (Track Chairs JV Rajendran, Naghmeh Karimi) 7. VLSI for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (Track Chairs Yanzhi Wang, Wujie Wen) 8. Microelectronics Systems Education (Track Chairs John Nestor, Tina Hudson).
