- In der dritten 'Fotografischen Ermittlung Neuenburg' nimmt uns Olga Cafiero mit auf eine Reise zu den Spuren des Philosophen und Schriftstellers Jean-Jacques Rousseau, um die lokale Flora zu entdecken. Die Fotografin hat den Schweizer Kanton Neuenburg erkundet und dabei verschiedene Kategorien von Pflanzen mit ihrer Kamera festgehalten: invasive, geschützte, gewöhnliche und abwesende ? all jene, die auch der Botaniker Rousseau während seines Aufenthalts in Môtiers (1762?1765) einst gesammelt und studiert hat. 0Ein Index von 130 Blumen, die Cafiero während ihrer Spaziergänge aufspürte, dokumentiert ihre Arbeit ähnlich einem Herbarium. Mit der Erarbeitung von Serien und einer Bildsprache, die jeder Serie eigen ist, liefert die Fotografin eine originelle Interpretation des floralen Erbes von Neuenburg von grosser künstlerischer und ästhetischer Qualität.
