- Summary:
- Two Fourth Symphonies, one by Beethoven and the other by Brahms... with captivating Romanticism, this concert program brought the 2019 Rencontres Musicales d'Évian to a close. Those who joined the star maestro Gustavo Dudamel at the Grange au Lac in 2017 will remember the strong impression that he left on audiences, and the 2019 closing concert is a magnificent opportunity to join them once again for a captivating evening! In 2018 at the Rencontres Musicales d'Évian and live on medici.tv, the Sinfonia Grange au Lac was inaugurated under the baton of Esa-Pekka Salonen with Strauss's Metamorphoses Beethoven's “Eroica”. An ensemble that brings together some of Europe's greatest orchestral musicians (members of the Orchestre de Paris, Gewandhausorchester, Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw, and Orchestre de l'Opéra de Paris among others), join the stellar group of artists whose performances are as dazzling as the beauty of this remarkable concert hall.
