It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2019 ACM Workshop on Emerging smart technologies and infrastructures for Smart Mobility and Sustainability - SMAS'19. This is the first edition of this workshop, intended to become a premier forum for presenting research results and experience reports on emerging sensing technologies and interconnected infrastructure that can lead to more efficient transport systems and innovative mobility services, keeping into account the urgent need to foster sustainable development.
