- 本书为"海外中文古籍总目"丛书之一种."海外中文古籍总目"是中华书局长期以来关注海外中国古籍的整理编目与出版工作的一个重大项目,已被列入"2011-2020年古籍整理出版规划".项目实施的目的是摸清海外图书馆藏中国古籍的家底,为我国古籍整理提供基本数据乃至全部资料,通过影印等出版工程,使流失海外的珍贵文献得以回归.本书收录加拿大麦吉尔大学图书馆所藏中文古籍条目120条和加拿大维多利亚大学图书馆所藏中文古籍条目9条,所收录图书以1912年为下限,依照传统的中文古籍分类法,即"经","史","子","集","类丛","新学"六部编排,六部后附和刻一类,正文后附索引.具体著录上参照古籍著录规则,著录书名,卷数,著者,版本,册数,行款,版式,内封,牌记,卷端,序跋及后人题跋,藏印等,并附卷端及正文书影于其后,以便读者得见是书原貌.
