- In Aramaic (document texts), with Hebrew words; second document has some Judeo-Arabic.
- Summary:
- This is a manuscript document written in Beth din for the amortisement by Daʼud ibn Yiḥiya Ḳafiḥ of his dues for ketubah of his wife; he was to give her a divorce document with her alottement promised in her Ketubah; the first document (written in 16 lines) is a receipt of payment, and the second (written in 11 lines) is a proof of Get (divorce document) given in court as well as absolvement of Daʼud of future alimony. Three witness signatures, place, and date below each document; item written in "אלמוקף קרית אראס", likely what was then Kharābat 'Arās (today in the Ibb Governate in the south of Yemen, which had a historical Jewish population). Written in a Yemeni semicursive script; item folded down, possibly originally accordian fold (now pressed flat).
