- "A later edition (1685) was issued under the initials of S.C. The young man's calling is another edition of Crossman's Young man's monitor, with the title altered. In the D.N.B. it is wrongly given to Nathaniel Crouch, who edited the 1685 edition"--Halkett and Laing.
