The text is mainly taken from: Camden, William. Britannia.
Some of the maps are signed by Jodocus Hondius, and "all were engraved by him or under his direction in his workshop at Amsterdam" (Skelton 7). The exception is the map of England, recut by Abraham Goos and dated 1632.
The title page, which is engraved, is unaltered from the 1627 edition.
Consists primarily of folded maps, with letterpress and foliation on the outer pages.
Books 2-4 each have separate title page with imprint "London, printed by Iohn Dawson for George Humble, 1631"; register is continuous.
The second leaf after 126 is numbered 129; the second leaf after 132 is numbered 135.
Includes index.
The last leaf is blank.
