An English version by Mather, entituled "A letter concerning the success of the gospel amongst the Indians in New England ..." was published London, 1689, and reprinted, with notes, in the third book of Cotton Mather's Magnalia Christi americana, London, 1702, and later editions: All but the introductory sentence of the English letter is incorporated in "A brief relation of the state of New England, from the beginning of that plantation ..." London, 1689, (reprinted in Mass. hist. soc. coll., 3d ser., v. 1, p. 93-101; Force tracts, v. 4, no. 11: Andros tracts, v. 2, no. 11) It is there stated that it has been "translated into divers languages in New England."
