A petition from severall regiments of the Army, viz, Colonell Fleetwoods, Colonell Whalies. Colonell Barksteads, &c. : Presented to his Excellency, Thomas Lord Fairfax, at St. Alboni , on Saturday the 11. of this present November, 1648. Wherein they set forth their desires for a speedy, safe, and just settlement, that thereby the kingdom may be freed from the heavy burthens that now they lye under, especially that of free-quarter. Also, a letter from his Excellency, to the committee of the Army, concerning the said grievances.
