Copy cataloged has MS. annotations for the date of payment: "22th November 1697"; the taxpayer: "of Mr Growmman [?]"; the amount taxed: "nine pounds and ten pounds"; the purpose of the tax [illegible]; and the name of the tax collector: "J Smith"; two words of title are crossed out in ink. The amount paid is also recorded to the right of the brace in roman numerals.
