The Classic Sermon Index catalogs 50,000+ published sermons by over 4,400 preachers, ranging from the church fathers to contemporary ministers. A high percentage of the entries are hyperlinked to scanned copies of the books where the sermons are found. Included are works by men and women, conservatives and liberals, Catholics and Protestants, and by preachers of various ethnicities. Sermons are indexed by preacher, Scripture text, and topic. Biographical sketches on each preacher allow for chronological searches, such as how Genesis 3 or the subject of depravity was handled from the 1500s to the 1700s. Provided by compiler.
