Summary:
Folio manuscript of astrological graphs, cabalistic book of remedies, digest of angels and weekly angelic occurrences, and some Sefirotic commentary. Chart and commentary on the Nogah, drawn to be copied for use of relations with women (f. 1r, and additional angelic names (f. 1v); the topic of ל"ב נתיבות החכמה with a Sefirotic circle chart for the days of the week (f. 2r, with material of Samael and Tuesday (f. 3r-v), and tables of gematria (f. 3v, 4v); Zodiacal content follows the commentary on the angelic names)). Additional practical cabala and divination instruction follows sections of astrology (f. 10r), including practices and remedies (for example, "אם תרצה לעשות אהבה כתוב בדם ידך על פתחך שם האשה ..."), and astrological commentary begins again on f. 11v; the manuscript stops after a commentary and illustration of angelic scripts and solar and lunar positions (likely in the angelic perspective). Written in an Oriental square script (large text, words inside charts and diagrams, ciphers and meditation letters) and a Yemenite semicursive script (instruction and descriptive text), all in a scribal hand. Written on commercial lined paper (partially with a printed grid), likely at the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century in Yemen (script, Judeo-Arabic text), likely for the composition of a large cabalistic formulary and diagram manuscript (unfinished; text ends on f. 18v).
