- "Five love letters from a nun to a cavalier" are a verse translation of the "Lettres portugaises" (first published 1669) ascribed to Gabriel Joseph de Lavergne, comte de Guilleragues.

- Each title within border of double rules; half-titles on leaves E5r and ²C4r each with woodcut vignette.
