The Forster Codices comprise 3 autograph manuscripts by Leonardo da Vinci. Each case contains a facsimile volume and a text volume with critical texts and paleographic transcriptions in parallel columns; a notarized colophon sheet is attached to the last volume.
Limited edition of 998 numbered copies.
The binding on the facsimile of Codex Forster II has been attached the wrong way round: the flap is on the front cover on the original manuscript.
Includes bibliographical references and index.
