"Limited to five hundred copies for sale. The book was designed by Andrew Hoyem and produced by the Arion Press with the assistance of Gerald Reddan, Blake Riley, Lewis Mitchell, Peter Stoelzl, Chris Chen, Kenneth Howard, and Flannery Bateman, with Glenn Todd as editor. The type, Kennerley, in Monotype and hand composition, was printed by letterpress on Legion Letterpress paper. The photographic illustrations were printed by offset lithography on Lustro Dull Coat paper by Biss Printing, Inc. The binding is sewn, with cloth over boards. The decorations on the cover were drawn by Valenti Angelo for the Colt Press edition of The wife of Martin Guerre by Janet Lewis, 1941. The pressmark above was cut by Mallette Dean."--Colophon.

Binding: quarter light brown cloth over tan cloth; title and decorations in brown on left board; title, author's name, and publisher's initials stamped in brown on spine.

Kislak Center Vilain-Wieck Collection of Private Presses copy presented to the Penn Libraries in 2017.
Vilain-Wieck Collection copy has laid in publisher's prospectus for this edition, broadside with color illustration of the Colt Press Epicure series box set, and postcard invitation to a meeting with the author of this work at The Book Club of California on 15 December 2003.
