Summary:
Manuscript additions bound in after a printed edition of Christoph von Hellwig's Der wohl unterwiesene Apothecker, oder, Gründliche Anleitung zur heutigen Apothecker-Kunst ... (Arnstadt, Leipzig, 1730). Most of the manuscript material consists of two substantial excerpts copied from Christian Friedrich Richter's printed medical works Kurzer und deutlicher Unterricht von dem Leibe und natürlichen Leben des Menschen (Halle, 1705; p. 3-17) and Die höchstnöthige Erkenntniß des Menschen, sonderlich nach dem Leibe und natürlichen Leben (Leipzig, 1710; p. 17-55). Additional notes and recipes written by multiple hands at the end of the volume (p. 57-81).
