- Summary:
- Work connecting people's names to the place from which the name is taken. The work was composed in 918 or 928 A.H. (1512 or 1522 CE) according to the colophon copied into this copy. This copy is missing some pages at the beginning; the first complete entry is "Arak"; most of a quire of leaves is missing between f. 10 and f. 19; several pages at the end (f. 280-297) have had their inner, outer and lower edges trimmed, cutting off some text.

- Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper outer recto (1-10, 19-297); catchwords every verso, lower left.
- Layout: Written in 21 long lines.
- Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed.
- Decoration: Rubrications in red.
- Binding: One remaining cover (front) of black leather over pasteboard, undecorated; board is detached.
- Origin: The copy was completed on 22 Dhū al-Qaʻdah, the year has been cut away, by Salīm...Bilqīs al-Radʻānī, part of the name is also cut away (f. 297v).
