- This 1984 database contians the Oxalic acid content of certain vegetables. Low concentrations of oxalic acid occur naturally in fruits and vegetables and do no harm when consumed as a part of a healthy diet. However, people with certain health conditions including but not limited to kidney disorders, gout and rheumatoid arthritis should avoid eating foods containing oxalic acid.
