Tels sont, selon l'artiste conceptuel francodanois Thierry Geoffroy, alias Colonel, l'état de l'opinion publique et le comportement des médias à l'égard du changement climatique. Petit à petit, ses slogans qui hésitaient entre « Avant qu'il ne soit trop tard » et « Demain, c'est trop tard » se réduisent à un simple « Trop tard » : Too late. Paradoxalement, c'est dans le désespoir qu'il trouve matière à consolation.
