Five legal documents (3 bifolia, 2 folios) concerning land and estate matters of the Home of Billie family, particularly Ninian Home of Billie. The document that may be the earliest, referring to 1744 and 1745, is incomplete with a catchword at the end of the bifolium and no pagination. The other four documents are a group; either dated 2 April 1753 or with notes on them relating them to the documents dated 2 April 1753; and signed by Robert Craigie, probably the Scottish advocate and judge who in 1754 began serving as Lord President of the Court of Session, the most senior judge in Scotland's courts. These four also have armorial watermarks that are difficult to see. The two bifolia dated 2 April 1753 are paginated separately.
