Summary:

Footage includes: Chairman Mao greets General Jara of the Mexican National Peace Council and magazine editor Jose Rosalez at an informal reception; the construction of small iron and steel blast furnaces throughout China as part of a production drive; road and waterway mobile engineering units, which travel the countryside repairing and servicing farm machinery, and also instructing the farm workers in servicing their own machinery; the mass production of hand-made violins and accordions in a workshop in Shanghai; young peasants make their first parachute jump as part of their training in forest protection at the Inner Mongolian Air Forestry Patrol Station.
