Summary:
A short documentary film introducing Soviet Ukraine and its cultural heritage, education and architecture. The presenter takes a tour of Ukraine, spending most of the film in the capital city of Kiev. Cultural highlights of Kiev are visited, including the Taras Shevchenko monument, the Red University Building, Saint Sophia Cathedral, the Motherland Monument, the sculpture of the founders of Kiev (Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and Lybid) located in Navodnytsky Park and the statue of Zynoviy Bohdan Khmelnytsky. A visit to the National Technical University of Ukraine and the recent developments in robotics at the time of filming are also captured.
