Summary:
Film following a delegation of students from various African nations as they travel to the Soviet Union to learn about government structures and modernisation in Uzbekistan. The narrator explains that the sun never sets on the Soviet Union - a country which is governed by its people. The African delegation visit schools, a collective farm and a rural hospital in Uzbekistan, learning about the local Soviet structure and the emancipation of women. Footage shot in Leningrad includes a traffic controller, a ship builder and scenes of the Supreme Soviet.
